"Charles Cecil has been a key figure in video games development for over 40 years. In 1990 he founded Revolution, one of the world’s leading adventure game companies which created the much-loved Broken Sword and Beyond/Beneath a Steel Sky series. Charles has additionally designed titles as diverse as The Da Vinci Code for Sony Pictures and Doctor Who for the BBC, for which he won a BAFTA award. In 2011 Charles was awarded an MBE for services to the computer games industry, and has been awarded the status of Industry Legend by Develop.
In this special event, Charles Cecil joins us on stage for an engaging and enlightened discussion about the early days of gaming, insights into the creative process, the growth of narrative in gaming, and the evolution of the industry into the phenomenon that it is today."

Kevin is the CEO and Creative Director at Italic Pig. Over the years he’s been a programmer, animator, blogger, art director, designer, developer, novelist and adventurer.
He once rode a tricycle across Australia, attended Oktoberfest with Miss Arkansas, nearly lost his left eye in Canada, and wrote and directed a primary school production of Star Wars the Musical right here in Northern Ireland.
